Emotional Freedom Techniques
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), sometimes called tapoping, is a meridian-based therapeutic tool that has been shown to decrease anxiety and other emotional distress by balancing disrupted energy in the body. Rooted in the ancient healing modalities of Chinese medicine, as well as modern psychology, and NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming), EFT has been shown to provide relief from a wide variety of concerns, including uncomfortable emotions like anxiety, fear, traumatic memory, as well as physical symptoms such as chronic pain, headache, and UTIs.
A User-Friendly Protocol
Since EFT is versatile and accessible, it is easily learned and can be practiced by oneself. Based on the theory that the fundamental cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy systems, its developer, Gary Craig, has introduced a "user friendly" protocol providing gentle stimulation of acupressure points, while focusing on the targeted thoughts and emotions. With this simple procedure the body's energy system is balanced, and many people experience reliable, reproducible results up to 90% of the time. This is a far higher rate of success than previous psychological processes.
In-the-moment Treatment
Typically, when one is thinking about the problem and performs the technique, the distress level will decrease by quantum leaps, neutralizing discomfort and unpleasant symptoms in just minutes. Since there is such rapid reduction of negative emotion, the treatment can be adapted in the moment, allowing for significant results in minutes. The results are predictable and easily replicable by anyone who knows the protocol. Whether you are looking for relief from a specific problem or just wishing to enhance the overall quality of life, EFT offers a holistic, non-medical, effective approach to creating emotional freedom for yourself.
